Two of my favorites that I have repurposed are a crystal biscuit jar into a toothbrush holder (left the lid off), and an old but elegant glass decanter as a mouthwash holder. Recently, I reused an old teak and plexiglass breadbox into a "mini hothouse" for baby seedlings. What ideas have you come up with to reuse and repurpose? Audra Rose	Posted - Dec 01 2025 : 6:37:45 PM My cat, Karl Catnip, spends a lot of time in the basement. I wanted to make him a little hideaway and saw this on Facebook (who knew?). I found a largish box, put in soft bedding, pulled one of my husband's unwanted 2x shirts over it, and voila! Karl climbs through the neck and cuddles inside. It's on the dryer so that the dogs don't pester him. My husband was ready to buy a teepee shaped hideaway,but I convinced him to give this cheap alternative a try. Vanessa Farmgirl Sister #6754
