Posted - Feb 26 2010 : 11:19:09 AM Hello, I wanted to get some seeds started for the year, due to the tons of snow we still have. So I wanted to figure something out that would not cost a dime. I came up with this:

Happy planting and lets all hope there isn't the 48" that the farmers almanac is calling for.

Posted - Mar 01 2010 : 7:21:10 PM I hope this works, if it does I will be happy. I made some potato salad today and used the rest of my eggs. I was so excited to get another egg carton. I had a good many do well last year in egg cartons, but those were not made into green houses. And in my childhood with girl scouts they worked well.

Posted - Feb 26 2010 : 2:34:27 PM In one of the last MJF magazines there was directions for starting seeds in a plastic food take out package. I'm going to get that one out and try it myself to start seed before I put them in the garden. I've not had much success with the egg cartons, but will try that again too and see what happens.
