Posted - Feb 18 2010 : 2:57:34 PM You might remember I fixed my dyer about two months ago by myself instead of paying to have it done for many more times the cause.
Unfortunatly last week it stopped producing heat again. So I foolishly ordered the same part I had just replaced thinking I had done something wrong-I hadn't- A wire had burned a bit and popped off it's connector. Grrr...I should have checked on the problem before ordering the part.
Luckily the part place is going to let me return the part!

Posted - Feb 23 2010 : 06:07:35 AM My drier just broke last week. I chose to fix it myself, too. It is my goal today to take it apart and figure out what needs fixed. I'm kinda excited actually, cause it really does save money, and I love to figure stuff out. I promised my 7yo son that he could help, he loves to fix stuff, too.
It's all good :) |

Posted - Feb 23 2010 : 04:05:05 AM that is great thing to be able to fix :) I ran across a blog awhile back where a lady took old dryers and took the doors off and made them into nesting beds for her chickens .. was one way to resuse them :)

Posted - Feb 19 2010 : 6:15:20 PM You'll be able to hire out soon! Maybe that's a skill for one of the badges.
