I have Witch Hazel.... Didn't know to use it with sunburn.... But I know it works pretty well with breakouts on your face, just use sparingly and KEEP IT OUT OF YOUR EYES!

I'll be adding this to our medicine cabinet. We usually use Noxema that's stored in the refrigerator. But, if Witch Hazel helps with the peeling, that would be a big plus. Too bad I didn't know this a couple of weeks ago. My DD got sunburn and is now in the peeling stage.

i had always used Aloe Vera in the past.Witch hazel has since replaced it,it works so well and most of the time you do not peel.

I use aloe vera. It is so soothing.
But, I'll keep your ideas in mind.
