Posted - Nov 23 2019 : 6:30:51 PM I just finished reading one authors version of "Mrs Lincolns Dressmaker,, and now I just started reading another version..
A lot of in-site to Mary Todd Lincoln, Elizabeth Keckly ...as well as history about 1860's politics, Status and Slavery.
The books are about the odd and committed friendship between President Lincoln's wife, Mary and a Free'd slave woman of mix ethnicity. I am enjoying the books.
Oh, and HG56... guess what I found??? yep, a Nancy Drew book at the Thrift for only 99cents.. and it's one I have not (re)read...!!!
