Did anyone see the Hallmark special presentation last night? I believe it was called the "Valley of Light". DH told me that part of it, if not all of it was filmed here in Oregon in a small town called Scotts Mills. I watched the first hour (had to go to bed, get up early for work) and I recognized the store as the one being in Scotts Mills. Not sure about the other areas they showed but it did look alot like the countryside around Scotts Mills, Mt. Angel and Silverton.

I did a bit more research and I guess they also filmed around St. Paul, Oregon - which is down the road from my parent's old farm. I think the house that they show where the young woman and granny lived is near St. Paul, it is open like that out there and I saw some hop fields in the background. What I saw of the movie, it was beautifully filmed and did put Oregon rural area in beautiful light.

I saw it too, can't go wrong with a Hallmark movie, and I thought it was filmed in Oregon. I spent a summer in Grants Pass, my son was born that summer in Klamath Falls, beautufil country!

I saw the movie I came in part way but I think I was only missed 10 minuets of it. A very nice movie. I would recommended it to people.

I watched the movie, it looked like a pretty area.
Sometimes they show those movies more then once and you can also buy them at a Hallmark store if you're interested in seeing the whole movie.
