I have been looking at this book online and have a hold for it at the library, but it is MIA right now.
Have any of you read this book and does it have apron patterns in it, or just stories.

Thanks for your help.

I agree, Grace! For me it's just one of those books I can pick up again and again!

For Christmas, I received "The Apron Book", (by EllynAnn Geisel),and I love it. I would rather have the book in my collection rather than borrowing from the library. I love to rumage through my books on a warm morning while relaxing on my patio, cup of coffee in one hand & a sweet book in the other. When you borrow it from the library, it's never yours, and you have to retun it which means you can not peek through it when you get the erge.

It's called the Apron Book. I just bought it from Crafter's Choice. I love all the stories in it and there are patterns to copy. It is just a really sweet book.

I actually have this on order from Amazon (it is out of print at most other sellers), and the wait time is about 5 weeks. You probably will get it sooner by going with the library.

Thanks a bunch.
You saved me some cash...I'm glad now that I resisted the 'impulse buy' at amazon.com a few days ago!

I have this book and it is lovely. I use it for inspiration for making aprons, just copying the photos. But if you'd rather have a pattern, as Clare said, there is only the one and it's nothing very different. I'd wait for the library too.
Best wishes,
Jayne

Just great pictures and stories, with one apron pattern in the very back of the book to detach and take out. It's a lovely book, but the kind that in a few years I'll probably wonder why I "had" to have it. Moment of weakness, I guess.

Be patient, and wait for the library to restock it.....
