I got this book (by Debbie Macomber) yesterday when I was feeling sorry for myself after I got these stupid splints put on my wrists for the carpal tunnel...got chocolate too...and I have read more than half of it already.I can't remember which of you gals recomended it, but thanks so much..I am loving it. Can't wait to read "A Good Yarn" next!!

Jenny,
I have read all of the books in this series, can't remember how many there have been. Three I think. Would be happy to send them to you if you would like to read the story from the beginning.

I have been wanting to get this book for a while. I normally like Debbie Macomber a lot. Thanks for recommending it. I think I will pick it up when I am in town this week. :)

I just started the book two days ago and today I bought One Good Yarn. I just love the first book.

It was so good. The second in the series is good too. A good Yard. I finished it this week.

I will put this on my list, it sounds good! Ironically, we met a very lovely woman named Blossom at the school concert last week. Must be good energy around that word!
Glad to hear you were taking it easy today and got to indulge in the pleasures of reading a really good book Jenny! Hope the sun was shining!

with a happy heart

I just finished it this afternoon (can you tell what I did most all day???) It is really really good. It is about a gal who opens a yarn shop (sort of against the best odds) and what she goes through personally and the three gals who sign up for her first knitting lessons class. They are very dissimilar and seem like there will be alot of friction at first, but they become important friends and all that happens is so good...really a fun read..hard to put down..Each chapter alternates one of the 4 main characters...

Can someone give me a short synopsis of this book without giving too much away on it? Thanks

Hey Farmgirls Think that I read the "Shop" because someone here suggested it. Would highly recommend it--absolutely heartwarming.

(Just realized that I have spent a good part of my day off reading our chats--can't think of a better place to visit.)

Anything you buy in a shop on a street called Blossom has got to be great! Love that name for a street!
