Posted - Dec 18 2006 : 9:53:06 PM Hello, everyone!
I got a new book today, too. It is Organic Housekeeping. When I ordered it, I just thought it was going to be recipes for natural cleaning, etc. But this book is wonderful. I haven't had time to sit and read, but just scanning, I picked up several things.
She has a chapter on Organizing, on Moderation in all things, Cleaning Chaotic Houses, habits, The Kitchen, with dozens of topics under this heading, The Bathroom, The Bedroom, Laundry, General Cleaning, Hazardous Material and Fire Safety, and The Garden. There are so many ideas under each topic!
The book seems to be well written and extremely easy to read. I might not do all the things in the book, or agree with all things in the book, but I love new ideas, new challenges!

Posted - Dec 18 2006 : 10:33:05 PM Oh, Valerie - I am such a big fan of this book - let us know what you think as you read through it. It has soooo many great ideas. Personally, I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of the "moderation" aspect of housekeeping! I've found that keeping a house as clean and straight as I'd like it to be has become exponentially more difficult with two children than with one...![](icons/icon_smile.gif)
XOXO, Libbie
