Ever since the post from Mary Jane about Stefanie and her two little girls, who are now without a Mother, my heart wanted to do something differnt. I've bought some to do goodies for the girls, but I wanted to do more. So, I bought a extra copy of Mary Janes Idea, cook and lifestyle book and donated it to my library in memory of Stefanie Crawford, who passed away last weekend and who worked at the farm, aiding Mary Jane in her quest. I couldn't believe my library didn't have a copy yet, so this donation took care of that and gave me a sense of passing along the spirit of a true blue farmgirl. It also is a great idea for remembering a loved one or just honoring someone still around. So, if anyone is needing a different kind of gift this year, think about donating a book to your local library in honor or rememberace of someone who touches your life. No one here will probably never know who Stefanie Crawford is, but I do now and I feel like I've given one of the best gifts ever!

Thanks girls, can't explain it, I just felt a need to do something and this came to mind, seemed so perfect since she worked for Mary Jane and the farm. I'll be donating more books, that's for sure!

Sue,

That was a very thoughtful and touching gift to make in Stefanie's memory. A very good idea.
