Hi Everyone. I received the biggest surprise today! I got an envelope(overnight) in the mail today and thought it was the farmgirl kit. I didnt get a chance to open it untill I got to work last night. I work evenings for a market research company. I was supposed to be reading new work material but I finally opened it & saw it was the new MJ magazine. STILL not realizing why it was sent to me, I started reading a little of it inbetween my work. Finally I get to page 132 and started to yell "oh my God, She printed it". They all gathered around me & were reading it, then it was passed all over my work place. Its a small article about my husband weaving better then me & how at first it made me feel. ANYWAY. it was so exceiting. I came home & he read it with my daughter. What a wonderful night. I have had a few little things published but this.... this is great. I thought it was so great she sent me a copy. I just wanted to share this with all my farmgirl friends!! Michele

Hi Ladies,

We are all so glad that you are enjoying the new issue. It is so fun to produce because it gets better every time. We are sorry that some of you were "surprised" by your contributions. We try to keep everyone informed but I think this issue was especially tricky in that regard since we started it last summer and then had to put it down until the book was done.

I am sad to say that this was my fourth and last issue as my fiance and I have decided to move back to Montana. You guys have no idea how cool it has been to read your great comments the last couple issues - It is very rewarding.

Eileen - I could not agree more. MaryJane and all the staff are superb at making their readers into friends and I want to say thank you again for allowing us to participate and have so much fun doing it. MaryJane, you make what you believe and stand for into reality. That is called walking the walk.

Isn't it wonderful how Mary Jane honors us with this recognition of our contributions! I have written to other publications in the past and have not even received a note that they received it let alone this type of recognition. It is tremendous to have this kind of value added to our thoughts and words.
Thank You Mary Jane!

I was very surprised to be in the issue also! It's only a question from this forum, but sure was fun to see my name in the magazine! I should get back to writing articles - this has definitely given me an incentive.

I had a tip printed in the Home Safe Home section, on removing splinters. I about fell over when I saw it.

Meadowlark,
There used to be a bubble on the home page that said Join us on the premier tour. I don't see it anymore so I think you might have to ask Cindylou. Just send her an e-mail and see if it is still circulating.

How do I get on the list for the premier issue? Is that still going on? Would love to read the issue and the journal?

I enjoyed your writing Michele! Isn't is fun to see your name in print in such a great magazine?

While we are on the topic, look at page 24. That is the story I wrote! And, I was just as excited as Michele to see it!
