Wanted to tell you all about one of the best fiction books that I have ever read. It was a book club selection for one of my reading groups. It is SECOND GLANCE by Jodi Picault and deals with the eugenics project in Vermont in the 1930's. Abenaki Native Americans, ghosts, modern genetics research--this book covers an astounding array of topics. While it can be disturbing at times, I suspect that most will not be able to "put it down".

I started reading this book last night and I was hooked after the first few pages. A friend in the UK recommended it to me. Picoult is popular over there.

It's so mysterious. I eventually had to force myself to put it down and go to bed!

Thanks, Connie for the book suggestion! It sure sounds intriguing I have one other of her books, and cannot remember the title.

O, cease to heed the glamour that blinds your foolish eyes,
Look upward to the glitter of stars in God's clear skies.
