"The Moonflower Vine" by Jetta Carleton
I just finished this book and I enjoyed it! It's about a family on a Missouri farm during the beginning of the century! It has great themes running throughout, and I want to share it! I like the way that Brenda has organized her traveling books, so I think that's a good place to start. Sign up here and I'll keep a list organized! Three weeks to read it, sign your name on the inside cover, and send it onto the next farmgirl!

Oh I don't have a copy of the book! I literally don't know why I clicked on this thread at all. It was just a coincidence. If I had a copy though, I would share it with you. I hope you can find another one!

My dear stepfather was a postmaster as well. Until the last few years of his life, he could still recall the address of nearly every resident in his town. I'll check out your necklaces. Are you interested in sharing your copy of the book? I promise to take good care of it and return it to you in a reasonable amount of time.

Carol! I'm not even in this traveling book swap thingy but for some reason I read this and I love it! People get so mad at the USPS and your attitude is awesome! Admittedly I'm a little biased... my dad is a retired postmaster and my aunt still works for the post office... also I sell necklaces made out of stamps... but still! Love it.

No worries. My hat is still off to the USPS. Think of how many pieces of mail they didn't lose!

Hi Ladies,

It seems that that book has gotten lost in the mail. I have asked the post office, but I'm not sure that they can really do anything. As soon as I find out more information, I will update everyone here! I am sorry for the delay and hopefully something will come up. I am sorry.

Becky, I've emailed Alicia to let her know you are ready to send the book on! Let me know when she contacts you!
Carol, I will absolutely add you to the list. It looks like you'll be after Joan, so when she is finished, I will send along an email to let you know when the book is ready to be sent! Then you'll just have to email her your address! When you are finished, you'll send it on to another sister or if there aren't anymore waiting readers, back to me!
