Posted - Mar 21 2013 : 07:29:26 AM Have any of you read One Thousand White Women by Jim Fergus? I don't usually care for male authors, but this was a great book. It's about the American West and Native Indians. The decline of one culture and the increase of another.
I just got a copy of "These is My Words" and love it. Maybe some of you would like this book also. It has book discussion questions in the back.

Posted - Apr 09 2013 : 7:29:40 PM I read 1000 WW a few years ago and absolutely loved it at first. I think it took a downturn. though. and I became disappointed in it toward the end. I really liked The Wild Girl, I think by the same author. I never heard of These Is My Words, but will definitely check it out if I can! I really love getting book tips like this! |

These is My Words & the 2 following are very good books.
