Has anyone read the longmire mysteries or watched the new series on a&e?

I didn't know longmire was based on a book series either. I think I'll suggest them to my dh...seems like his kind of thing.

we love westerns so I watched three segments yesterday--it's not bad if you follow the characters-however i prefer the Jesse Stone ones with Tom Selleck....

haven't read any of the books....

I am reading one of his books called Junkyard Dogs the author is Craig Johnson, I did like the show too so thought I'd see how the books were

I've seen one or two episodes on TV, but I didn't know the stories were based on books. Do you know the author's name? I haven't seen enough of the show on TV to know what I think of it yet.
