Here are some questions to think about and discuss for Anne of Ingleside.
Warning: There may be spoilers in the questions or answers, so if you haven't read the book yet and you are reading this discussion, be prepared to be informed!
Feel free to answer any or all of the questions. These are discussion questions, so there are no right or wrong answers. If you have your own questions you want to ask, feel free!

1) How does Anne of Ingleside show how Anne has changed and matured?

2) In what ways does the Anne of the books differ from the Anne in the movie version?

3) Which of Anne's children is your favorite?

4) Of all the humorous stories about the kids in this book, which one do you like the most?

5) Do you feel like LM Montgomery was still writing for kids, even though Anne has grown older?

6) How do you feel about Ingleside as a home?

7) What are your thoughts about Susan as a character?

8) Favorite quote?

9) Do you relate to Anne's fit of despondency in the last few chapters?

10) Clothes sewing, lacemaking, and quilting were much more a part of the society at this time. Find a passage that describes some form of sewing that interests you and discuss why it interests you.
