Posted - May 01 2011 : 2:46:04 PM I have read these stories over and over again. I recently found some at Value Village. Not many people seem to have heard of Miss Read. I love all the domestic details and the village goings on! |

Posted - Apr 15 2011 : 06:42:23 AM Mary, they are so wonderfully British. Very reserved and gentle humor, but fantasticly sarcastic and ironic. I love them so far.
Elaine, I don't think I can do that. I read a lot, but I only buy books I love, and so my collection are all like friends. I couldn't just swap them out. <sigh> oh well, I'll figure it out.
