Posted - Mar 29 2011 : 5:56:32 PM I'm not a camper, but I love Nevada Barr's series featuring Anna Pigeon. Anna is a park ranger stationed in real-life state parks where a murder always manages to occur. It's great suspense, but shouldn't leave you worried or concerned. I enjoyed the familiar locations from the parks I've visited - makes "seeing" the story more real. Good luck!

Posted - Mar 29 2011 : 4:12:03 PM Thanks ladies... I've read all of Mary Jane's books, but am going to look in the Christian fiction. I like the idea of stocking up my camping gear with a series to work on all season long. If anyone else has any ideas, please let me know.

Posted - Mar 29 2011 : 06:04:35 AM if you like Christian fiction, the Yada Yada Prayer Group books (by Neta Jackson) are a GREAT series!! and the House of Hope series, kind of a spinoff of those.
