Has anyone read this book by Fannie Flagg - "Can't Wait To Get To Heaven?" Oh my gosh! I read it in just a couple of days and haven't ever belly-laughed and guffawed like this while reading before! I had read it a few years ago, and just came across it in a box of books my husband had taken up to the attic. I can't wait to read it again! Have you read any of her other books? Any recommendations?

Thanks! Nini

Hee hee hee hee hee... I just LOVED that book, Kristina! I've never read a book that made me laugh so hard! 'Can't wait to hear what you think! :) I haven't been able to get out yet to check on the other titles, but I am surely looking forward to reading them soon! Hugs - Nini

Well, that didn't take long. I have a library copy of "Can't Wait to Get to Heaven" in my hot little hands. Our library had a copy.

I should check it out. Anyone else read "Where the Heart Is" back in the 90's? Loved the movie, too, Novalee and Americus were such cute characters.

Redbird Christmas is good too! I love to get them on CD with Fannie Flagg reading them - it adds to the fun.

I have read all her books. Her book 'DAISY FAY AND THE MIRACLE MAN' is also very funny. I loved "STANDING IN THE RAINBOW". About a family in a small town, the mother and Grandmother had a radio show they aired from their house, called Neighbor Dorthy.Household tips and cooking. Really nice story.
