I think this a quote that hones in the farmgirl message:

Great quote Debbie - here's another one of my favorites:

If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive. ~Eleonora Duse

here is one of my favorites...
our house has a heart and a soul and eyes to see us with, and approvals and solicitudes, and deep sympathies. It is of us and we are in it's confidence and we live in it's grace and in the peace of it's benediction, we cannot enter it unmoved.

Mark Twain

Here's a little one I enjoy. It reminds me of this extraordinary woman that that I know. She's beautiful, strong, and inspiring! She's my mom!

I think it would be nice to keep adding a quote a day like a little ray of sunshine.....

So here I am passing this thought along to my Farmgirl Sisters....

" See yourself doing all the things you'd like to do. Take the time to use your creative power of visualization to create the life you'd like.
But above all, take the take to see yourself being happy!"

Thanks Tracy,
So much of our time is spent thinking about what we could/would/should be doing rather than what we ARE doing. There can be peace in simple tasks. I love baking bread, there's not much problem there, but washing dishes? I try to focus on enjoying what I see out my window and find the time goes a lot faster.
Do you have other things you'd like to share in this thread? It would be a good one to keep alive.
