I just finished this novel and it is one of the best things I have read in a looong time.

A family saga about a farm in Missouri. Rich language and deeply developed characters.
This book was written in 1962, went out of print and was reprinted again in 2002. I got it from the library. Don't know how esy it is to find but it is definitely worth the search

That is a gorgeous title! The story sounds great, too. I am going to see if the library has it.
