I haven't read this yet, I'm going to see if my library has it. It's called The Coke Machine and it tells the story behind Coke's rise to become the world's best-selling soft drink. Apparently the drive to become number one was ruthless and brutal, with people suffering as a result. If I read it, I'll probably never drink Coke again. I tried something today that I've been thinking of--I took a glass of cold water and added a little apple cider vinegar and then some pure cherry juice to sweeten it. Not bad. It may become my new drink. I guess the soft drink industry is just as corrupt as any other big industry.

I don't remember the author's name, I saw it at Barnes & Noble. It was with the new books. Haven't had a chance to get to the library yet.

Interesting. We avoid coke, and all soda simply because of the GMO's and sugar but I wonder who the book is written by?
