A long time ago ( well not that long ago) I started a Christian fiction romance reading book club and was wondering if anyone would be intrested in joining again. If so I will make a list of the books we can read ( I'm very open if you have a book you would like to add to the list). We would read 1 book a month ( We tried reading 2 books a month but it was really hard because we were all busy).
Let me know if you are intrested!
Hugs,
Channah

Is it still too late to join? I've read a lot of the westerns by the one author mentioned, and have read the Chapel books as well.

Hey Girls! I think I am going to change this around. I did want to do a christian book theme but I am really wanting to read the Anne of Green Gables series again. Would this be ok? If you haven't read the whole series, it is very clean and oh it is so good! You would all love it!
I'll start a new thread.
Hugs,
Hannah

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

I like the Grace Chapel Inn series also. They are very gentle. There are around 43 of them in the series now, I believe, but I haven't seen any new ones for a while.

Thanks so much Denise. I will look into it!

I am reading the Grace Chapel Hill series right now. Found them at the library. Very good, clean and uplifting.

I know you all like diffrent books so I think I will add a little of everything. :) If you see a book you don't want to read feel free to skip it. :)
Will let you all know next week!

I would love to join you...I've been on such a non-fiction trend lately that getting back into reading fiction books will be fun. Thanks for starting this!

Channah, I'm not much into western books, but if you go with something else I'd love to join. It looks like alot of the girls do like western and I know you will all have fun reading and discussing your book of choice. Have fun!

Hi, I'm always looking for new stuff to read and by the way I am a huge fan of Louis L'amour, he writes great stuff and clean too.

I have found some neat westerns that are "clean". Louis L'Amour ( sorry if I spelled that wrong) writes really neat westerns.
I like how your grandma put that Siobhan. lol So funny!
Kissing and that is ok but no "Bodice rippers". lol

I think you could find Christian Westerns that would be clean. And there are a few romance writers that are fairly clean like Nicholas Sparks (love scenes are not as detailed as some). As long as we avoid the ones my Grandma calls "bodice rippers" LOL!

I would think you'd be hard pressed to find "Westerns" or "Romance" books that are "clean", but if you do, please let me know and I will join in if I can.

I'm in! I need to have the push to read more again and if I have deadlines I might be more likely to finish more books.

or we could do a totally diffrent one with a mix of books. Like westerns, clean romances, etc.
It doesn't matter to me. Just as long as they are clean and have nothing bad in them.
