I am reading this book with my girls for homeschooling. We just made homemade butter after reading Chapter 13 (The Ingalls get a milk cow). I wrote out the steps on my blog and just posted it today. Just click the link below. We love the series!

This will be a good time to make the sunbonnet I've been wanting to make

Amy,
I have loved reading the "Little House" books, I'm starting some of the projects. I've been picking blackberries in my yard, no wild ones close that I'm able to get too. Making a Blackberry cobbler this weekend. My daughter has been making blackberry jelly.
Even my husband has started reading the little house books, and I have found reruns of "Little house on the Prairie" tv so I've been watching those also.
