Posted - May 20 2006 : 4:14:58 PM As I wrote before, it would be wonderful to have a group of reviewers from MaryJanes Farm. I will need to see a sample review - if you don't have one, write one from a book you have read that you loved (preferably non-fiction). I want the reviews to be related to farm life - i.e., gardening, crafts, self-help, spiritual - can be childrens books related to farm life/nature. I don't want to have reviews of any erotica or political books. Let's keep it positive. I am open to the possiblity of romance that is geared towards farm life/frontier living. I will be happy to work with you and get you choices from publishers but you must agree to send you completed reviews to me for editing before they are posted. I will of course give you complete credit for your review. Send me an email with a sample of your writing and let me know what subjects are of interest to you so I can line you up some choices. I do ask that if you review you do so in a reasonable time frame - 1-2 months at the most. This way that will keep a steady supply of books coming your way. When you email me, you will see links below my signature where you can check out my reviews. I have also reviewed for the print magazine, Romantic Times Book Club Magazine, but no longer do. I am new to Simegen.com where I am the Author Interview Coordinator. My first interview on that site will be with author Charlene Proctor, author of Grow Your Goddess - a wonderful empowering book! I will also be interviewing Garden Goddess, Sharon Lovejoy and many more. So...if you love to read, don't be shy - we can really make this project work!

Posted - May 21 2006 : 03:54:32 AM Kathy, I love to read!!!! I used to work at a newspaper as the staff photographer, but I also did "fluff" pieces. Although I never thought I could write very well. Seems as tho right now I'm not getting a whole lot of time to read, but I would deffinitely give this some serious consideration.
