Jeff Yeager, the author, pedals his way across America on his bike for his book tour. He stays in homes of readers and sleeps under bridges to advocate his "cheapskate" lifestyle. This book is full of advice from the cheapskates Yeager met while on his book tour. It is full of great ideas, helpful websites and hilarious stories. Worth the read!

Good luck with your quest, Renae, and good for you! It is an eye opener, isn't it?

We're on a "financial fast" this week that Yeager talked about in his first book. We're trying not to spend any money for a week. The only provision I made was that I had planned to pick raspberries on Monday and didn't want to wait a week because they might be all gone. So far, we've made it 4 days. The only problem I forsee is that we might run out of milk. It's an interesting experiment on really thinking about what you purchase and could/should you do without it.
