Hi ladies! I just bought the book Three Cups of Tea the other day, and I haven't started it yet. Just wondering if anyone wants to read along with me. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's the true story of how this mountaineer had failed to climb a peak, and while he was in these mountains in Pakistan, he came to know a small village of people. He promised them that he would build them a school. Then, in the next ten years, he built 55 schools in the mountainous area where the Taliban started. I've really wanted to read this for a while, and I was wondering if anyone else wanted to read it with me!

Hi Judy! I was thinking maybe start posting on the 28th, so that gives us a week and a few days to start reading. Then we could post about the first few chapters.

Megan,

Sounds like a great book - when do you plan to start?

I would love too!!---I started it, but put it down and just haven't picked it up again-I will definitely put it by my night-stand and finish reading it!

Angie, from the forum, graciously sent me her copy and when I am done I will send it on to anyone else who would like to share then when they are finished they will send it on to someone new...
Kind of like paying it forward but with a good book!
