Our county is the first in the state to have an organized barn quilt tour. The latest quilt went up last Sunday at the 20th Annual Rhubarb Festival at the Dr. A.L. Small Memorial Park, Kankakee, Illinois.
A video has been made of the design, painting, installation and ribbon cutting of the Rhubarb Pie Quilt design:

It is the 21st quilt to be installed in the past two years, with at least seven more to come this summer.
If you would like to know more about the self-guided tour, please contact the University of Illinois Extension at 815 933-8337 or kankakee.extension.uiuc.edu.
Best to all,
Carolyn
