Goodreads needs a group for people like us who care about reusing things and living practical, thrifty lifestyles. As far as I can tell there isn't anything for that.

Would anyone be interested in being part of a streamlined living reading group? We would discuss books of the back-to-basics variety for any aspect of life. It wouldn't be limited to non-fiction if somebody read a good fiction book where the main character lived a simple lifestyle and it worked for them. Off the top of my head, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver, of course, all of Mary Jane's books, topics such as no-dig gardening, re-purposing, scrap quilting, basically most of the topics we discuss here would be in play.

Let me know. If there is interest I will start one.

Great, Channah!

Does Streamlined Living sound like a good name to you?
