I am reading "Between the Flowers" by Harriet Simpson Arnow and just loving it, it's about farm people in Kentucky in the early 1900's. It took me about 50 pages to get into it, but now I'm hooked and can't put it down. Just thought I'd share. Anyone else know of a good author that writes about Kentucky?

LOL, our youth group just watched a video lesson that talked about "living between the trees"....and the speaker on the video planted the trees "Guerilla-style"! hehe

Living between the trees or the flowers.....sounds like a great place to live to me!

The end will justify the pain it took to get us here.

Our Frannie is very fond of author Janice Holt Giles, you could look her up on Amazon, she has written several books, and I believe most take place in Kentucky.
