Posted - Apr 10 2011 : 04:09:57 AM I've had time to make only the Chocolate Sheet Cake so far, but I'm going to try other recipes in the book. I have it on my cookbook stand now--a place of very high honor in my kitchen! Dianne in the Hudson Valley

Posted - Apr 08 2011 : 12:42:50 PM I just got my copy and I love, love, love it! Definately not a cookbook for low fat and non dairy fans. Great comfort food and wonderful pictures, just like her blog. I also got her book "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" and started reading it and can't put it down. Well, maybe long enough to eat a piece of her Chocolate Sheet Cake that I just made.

Posted - Dec 01 2009 : 08:08:38 AM I have tried several recipes. We made the pork roast, the lasagne, the chicken spagetti, MM favorite sandwich and something else I think. All were delicious. I cook off her website and from the tasty kitchen website all the time.

Posted - Nov 30 2009 : 12:40:22 PM Good to know! Coincidentally, I was just perusing her site last night and going on a recipe-saving binge. Have you tried her cinnamon buns before? The combo of maple and coffee in the icing is unbelievable.
Would you say the recipes in the book are all new, or are some on the site? |
