I love this book! It's beautiful and the recipes that I've tried are wonderful. But definitely not for those seeking lowfat recipes - LOL

I've had time to make only the Chocolate Sheet Cake so far, but I'm going to try other recipes in the book. I have it on my cookbook stand now--a place of very high honor in my kitchen! Dianne in the Hudson Valley

I just got my copy and I love, love, love it! Definately not a cookbook for low fat and non dairy fans. Great comfort food and wonderful pictures, just like her blog. I also got her book "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" and started reading it and can't put it down. Well, maybe long enough to eat a piece of her Chocolate Sheet Cake that I just made.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Yep, I got it for Christmas and have managed at least one thing each week from it. My dh is crazy about my cooking ;)

I've made:

Lasagna
Chicken fried Steak
Mac and cheese
and egg in hole's for breakfast (we always called them bird in the hole :))

I plan on making the chicken spaghetti, just need to get me a chicky!

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check it out at the library :)

I have tried several recipes. We made the pork roast, the lasagne, the chicken spagetti, MM favorite sandwich and something else I think. All were delicious. I cook off her website and from the tasty kitchen website all the time.

Has anyone tried the any recipes yet? I want to make the meatballs soon. They look good. It is a great book and wonderful step by step photos so we can see how each step should look.

Good to know! Coincidentally, I was just perusing her site last night and going on a recipe-saving binge. Have you tried her cinnamon buns before? The combo of maple and coffee in the icing is unbelievable.

Would you say the recipes in the book are all new, or are some on the site?
