Got this out yesterday for a re-read. Forgot what a good since of humor she had. As I said ON MY BLOG TODAY, I didn't know she had written so many books. I have five and thought that was about it. I ordered three more used. One is a cookbook, should be an interesting one. Going to Amazon is always a dangerous thing for me to do.

I have that book, too, Nancy. And a few others. Stillmeadow Calendar is one. I need to find them. I had gotten them out to read and now don't know where they went. Hum... She really was a good writer. I would love to have all her books. I'll have to go look on Amazon but I'm like you, that could be dangerous!

I don't have that book, but it sounds like her. She had a setter, and cockers.

Is Gladys Taber the author of a book on the dogs of Still Meadow? I seem to recall reading about them when I was young. I believe she had some Irish setters.
