A Girl Named Zippy
Growing up Small in Mooreland, Indiana-by Haven Kimmel

I just picked this up at the library yesterday for 50-cents and I love it!

Very, very down home and FUNNY!

When I am finished I will gladly post it media mail and they in turn can post it media mail to someone else who would like to read this wonderfully light and entertaining little book-

Sewgirlie....I would love to read more of this author. Bruce, my DH grew up in a little community about the size of Mooreland and around the very same time the '70's. I love her quirky righting and I GET the humor!!

Deal...when I am done it goes to Jenny. Jenny you will have to e-mail me your address so I can get it out to you.

It won't be a long read as the book is pretty short. Your are going to laugh when you see the cover!

I LOVED!!! A Girl Named Zippy!! Read it years ago and was wondering if anyone else here read it. I just finished the second book she wrote and enjoyed it a great deal too.

Melody, I will send you the second one if you send Jenny the first one. I have several copies of the first one in my classroom, but don't want to go in there just yet!! LOL

Jenny: I got the book you sent me today. Loved the cover and cannot wait to get to it. Will send A Homemade Life your way this weekend probably!! Thank you so much!!

That sounds really good. I would love to read it if you don't have any other takers. No hurry. Isn't it fun when you just end up with a book you never heard of and it turns out to be so much fun? I will happily pass it to someone else after I read it too.
