Posted - May 28 2009 : 06:20:46 AM First of all after a VERY busy spring I am frantically trying to get caught up on my monthly READING LIST posts on my blog. I am so behind it's not funny! But alas today is the last day of school and I have the lazy days of summer to look forward to.
I am looking for some reading reccommendations for the summer. Suggestiions might include books you love, books you think I would love, or books you thought looked interesting but havent had a chance to read yet.
I will try to get to as many of the suggestions as possible. Post here, email me or leave a comment on my blog! Thanks girls!

Posted - May 28 2009 : 1:29:43 PM I you like historical novels, my husbands cousin wrote a book about Roxana, the Persian princess who was married to Alexander the Great. Here is the review about it from the Historical Novel Society: http://historicalnovelsociety.org/hnr-online.htm
I read the book over the winter. It was historically accurate, interesting, and quite an eye opener! Good luck finding the kind of books you enjoy!

Posted - May 28 2009 : 10:01:25 AM I just recently (this past week) read New Mercies by Sandra Dallas and Sister's Choice by Emilie Richards. Both were good. I especially liked New Mercies. I read Buster Midnight' Cafe not long ago (also by S. Dallas) and it was great too.
