This book by Dan Buettner seems interesting. I ordered it from Amazon last night...saw the author on Oprah last week. He travelled the world to places where people live longer and healthier than others around the world - Loma Linda, CA; Sardinia, Italy; Okinawa, Japan, and Costa Rica. He talked about things people in these areas have in common that seem to contribute to a long, well-lived life - things like spirituality, physical labor, a purpose for getting up each day, connection with family and community, and eating a diet mostly of plants, with limited meat - some other nutritional information was given...I look forward to getting the book and reading more details...
I wondered if anyone has read it, or have seen him talking about his findings?
