I know someone has probably already mentioned this book. But I finally got it from the library after having to wait a month. I've already read the first chapter about chickens. She is a good storyteller. She holds my attention already. There's chapters on bee keeping, dogs, rabbits. Lots of interesting topics.

It seems like she is on this forum, too. Or has been at one time. I saw something about her or from her a while back somewhere. I forgot to say her name. It's by Jenna Woginrich.

OK, i think i may have been convinced to pick up this book. I had read about it the new MOther Earth News and in a book club I'm in. I kept getting really excited about it, but would change my mind. Good chance you all convinced me to give it a go.

HI there,
Molly Wizenberg is the author. I see our local library has it listed so I am going to get mine there. Amazon has it as well for probably the cheapest price.

I posted the topic about this book. Isn't it great?? I love that it was such a short read but had lots of information in it. And she's a great storyteller. She even mentions MaryJane and the forum in the back of the book!

I just bought this book tonight and can't wait to read it, especially after reading the excerpt in MEN.

I was also wondering if any of you has read Confessions Of A Counterfeite Farmgirl"? It looks like it might be a fun book to read.

Jenna used to be on this forum - she was going to host Fiddle Fest a while back, but it kind of fizzled out. I have since read in MEN that she has moved from Idaho to Vermont, so that's probably what happened. It's a great book - I read the whole book while drinking coffee one day at Borders! (I know, shame on me.)
