I received my 2009 Acres USA Book catalog in the mail the other day! Every time I get one I look through it and dog ear the pages of the books I am intrested in. I might as well dog ear the pages of the books I am not intrested in! I usally limit myself to 2 books. (My books-to-read pile gets bigger all the time). I was planning on getting Rikki Carroll's Home Cheese Making ( I think this was the book mentioned in Animal Vegtable, Mircle, but I lent it to my sister) and The Backyard Beekeeper by Kim Flottum. Has anyone read these books? What do you think?

I used to get Ricki Carroll's e-newletter, but I don't anymore, guess I will have to re-subscribe.

That's also one book I've wanted to get for a long time too. I'll check Amazon for a nice used copy. Thanks for REMINDING me!!! I would also like to learn more about beekeeping-- but since I am DEATHLY Allergic to honey bees-- I'm not so sure having a hive of my own is such a good idea.... but, I can still DREAM about it! ~~~ Tracy
