Some years ago a dear older lady in my church gave me a wonderful book which I would like to re-read...of course I can't remember the name of it nor the author. I loaned it out several times...mistake because I never got it back from the last borrower (and can't remember who it was!) It had a aqua green/blue cover, was a little paperback Christian-based book(referring to Scripture for all of the ideas in the book) about making home a special place, every meal, every room, etc in a simple but elegant (farmgirl elegant)...flowers on the dinner table, etc. Does anyone else recall seeing anything like this and if so, can you help me locate remember it with a name or author? I know...needle in a haystack, but worth a try.
Thanks.

Hey, I answered my own question after searching around online. It's "The Hidden Art of Homemaking" by Edith Schaeffer (Tyndale House publishing), 1985. Found one on Amazon used for $2.44 too! It's a great book about bringing art into the home in simple ways that make home a peaceful place and a haven. I remember it being a great read and inspired me and had some great ideas.
Thanks anyhow.
