Christian fiction, a few are contemporary and the rest are more historical-in the past of this country or in biblical times. She is really an excellent writer.

I was reading everyones reviews and Francine Rivers sounds like a good author. What kind of books does she write?

Redeeming Love is wonderful. That was the first Francine Rivers book I ever read.

I haven't read that one but I have read several other of her books and I have LOVED them. And yes, that's LOVED in all capital letters...lol She is such a master story teller. My favorites are And The Shofar Blew, The Scarlet Thread and Redeeming Love. I think I've read all three of them at least five times each.

I have not read this one. I just read a book by Francine Rivers - And The Shofar Blew - it was excellent. I had not read anything of hers and now I'm hooked.

It's on my list of books to read. I've read other books by Francine Rivers, and I've loved all of them. Now I can't wait to read it.
