Posted - Jul 05 2008 : 5:41:48 PM I can't remember if you all have posted about this site before or not but it's awesome. I joined months back but thought I had to post my own pics but you don't! You just put the isbn # in. I would love to post them all here but listing titles and pictures is alot of work. So I listed lots of kids books at the site. Not sure how you look for me but it's a wonderful site just the same. You earn credits for books that you send out and then you can get books for yourself! It's a great way to start recycling!!!! YEA!

Posted - Aug 10 2008 : 12:05:30 PM I'm a member there too, add me as a buddy if anyone wants to. I have gotten rid of quite a few books. I love that people will find the books I have to send out, I don't have to try posting on the forums and such. I have some credits to spend... might get a few more Willa Cather books.. Elise

Posted - Aug 10 2008 : 05:24:52 AM I have been using paperbackswap for a little over a year and I love it. I also recently joined their swap a dvd and that is great too. It's wonderful to find an old out of print book that you have been looking for. And everyone that I have swapped with has been great.

Jenny and Robin, I added you to my paperbackswap buddy list. Karin I could not find you in the member directory. I love it and I don't think the postage will be a problem, most of our books are paperback and not that much plus if I only have to pay for postage going out and I get a book for every one I send then it beats the cost of new or used books from the bookstore and if the library does not have it- it will work great I am sure. I even found a scrapbooking series like the quilt fiction and yarn fiction books!

Posted - Jul 06 2008 : 6:12:35 PM I too am a paperback swapper! I love this site and if you have kids, it is great! I read a lot so it really saves us money too! I don't know if any of you use freecycle.org, but I enjoy it too. Its a great way to recycle unused items and sometimes you find just what you were looking for. Just go to the site and see if there is an operating group in your area.
Thanks, Robin

Posted - Jul 05 2008 : 6:14:00 PM Wow! That site is really cool! Do you find that it works out, postage-wise, for you? It seems that you could easily get overloaded by sending a lot of books out but not getting as many...
