Posted - Jun 18 2008 : 12:01:33 PM Just thought I'd let everyone know that Tasha Tudor died today in her home in Marlboro, Vermont. She will be sadly missed by this little homesteading family, for all the inspiration we've gleaned from her wonderful books and videos.

Posted - Jun 23 2008 : 7:28:14 PM This made me teary eyed, too. I loved Tasha Tudor and all her beautiful beautiful books. There is something very comforting to me just looking at her books and reading about her. I will miss her. But yes, she lived a long and beautiful life.

Posted - Jun 19 2008 : 11:09:47 AM Oh, how terribly sad! I got a little teary eyed as I read the brief posting of her passing on the website-- which I didn't even know existed until NOW! Such a neat little lady that will be terribly missed, but she left behind such a rich legacy for her family and friends and all her devoted fans. Thanks for letting us know Marqueta.
Shirley, what tapes do you have? Just curious. ~~~ Tracy

Posted - Jun 18 2008 : 6:15:31 PM Is this posted online someplace? I looked on her family site and did not see it. It makes me very sad but all the corgis in heaven, my Bagel too, will have an excellent new mommy who will never leave them - doggy heaven is very lucky to have her :) She lead a charmed life and was a real person unmarred by technology. Bless her soul I loved her dearly. *tears*

Posted - Jun 18 2008 : 12:05:29 PM I was always afraid to hear this....I knew it would happen eventually, though. What a wonderful life she had--so glad I purchased a signed copy of her illustrated Child's Garden of Verses for my godson last year.
With a heavy, but grateful heart....
