I absolutely love "Screen Doors and Sweet Tea..." by Martha Foose. Has anyone made any recipes from this book? I made the Darkness in the Delta dessert for Father's day and it was really easy and fudgy. The inside out sweet potatoes were good too, but next time I won't try to speed things up by using canned sweet potatoes.

I've really enjoyed it. She does a wonderful job of mixing southern recipes with stories and photos of the south. I like how she includes recipes as varied as cocktails, main dishes and desserts. There is a little something for everyone.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking for another summer read. I was going to go to Borders tonight for a bit so I will see if I can get it there since my library does not carry it. I will let you know when I get it and try something.
