Just wondering. I was given a collection and I find them interesting.

Cheers,

Great summer reading. Makes me want to get out and have adventures.

We make a difference.

Hey Heather - I have read all of his I think, and reread too....I think I read On the Road when I was ten and I was hooked!! I love rereading books at different times in my life because I get something new from them with each reading.

I read On the Road when I was in boarding school--we passed it around a group of us. We all thought we wanted to be Kerouac :) or follow the Dead (but not because we liked their music).

I think The Dharma Bums is his best. It's the least preoccupied with style, and has the most appealing characters.

I tried to read this as a teenager and couldn't get past the first chapter. But as an adult I love it.

I was thinking that I needed to read them again. It was a long time ago when I first read one of them. Maybe I am ready to really "get it" this time around.
