HAs anyone read The Country of the Pointed Firs? I thought it was a most delightful book. The charaters felt real, and like the kind of people you would want next door. My copy has other short stoies of hers as well. Has she written other books?

You have found one of my favorite authors! I loved The Country of the Pointed Firs from the moment I started reading it!
She actually was quite a prolific writer- try The Country Doctor.
