A while back I watched a movie called The Freedom Writers about inner city "at risk" kids and an amazing teacher who loved them. This movie was awesome and is based on the book I am reading now...The Freedom Writers Diary by The Freedom Writers with Erin Gruwell. I was so excited when I stumbled across the book in the library yesterday and am halfway done with it already. The insights these kids have on life is amazing (actualy, they are the same age as I am, but when the entrys were written they were between 14-16). These are kids who grew up in the middle of gang wars and race riots and still have the spark to find hope! Amazing!

What we write today slipped into our souls some other day when we were alone and doing nothing.
