Last year I treated myself to a book called A Farm Country Christmas. I fell in love with it. I got it at Tractor Supply but I am sure it is for sale other places. It is published by Voyaguer Press and edited by Amy Rost-Holtz. It is jam packed full of such warm and wonderful stories. Then this year I found one called Good-Old-Days Christmas Memories. It is just as good. I got it at Tractor Supply too. If you get a chance see if you can find them. I think you will love them as much as I do. I admit it I am a sap for these kind of books!!

Is there a group for book-aholics? I'm drive my husband nuts with the books I buy. I just love them I always have and I have passed that on to my children. Hope to pass on to my 2 grandchildren too!

I am a total nutjob for books too. Probably why I am an English teacher. Then I can read all I want and then share with the kids and other teachers. Sometimes I can even get the school to order books that I know will be good and then I get them first.

The Farm Country Christmas did not come yet, but I cannot wait! That cider and quilt sound perfect. We may be getting a little snow (and later rain) this weekend and that will be a great time for reading and sewing.

I, too, am passionate about books. Thanks for sharing. I just bought A Farm Country Christmas on-line and have put the others on my wish list. When it arrives I am going to treat myself to nice hot cup of cider in a quiet room with a cozy quilt ... Merry Christmas to me!

Blessings, Lea

Seasons on the Farm came in the mail yesterday, as did the Good Old Days Christmas book. Cannot wait to start in on them this week!! Thanks for the recommendations!

I just ordered a bunch of these books today. Cannot wait to get them in the mail and spend happy nights relaxing with them by the woodstove. Heaven!

Bonnie, thanks I will check out your blog. I think I love these kinds of bools so much because of the warm fuzzies you get when you read them. I love books and articles that make me feel good.
I haven't seen Season's on the Farm, but believe me I will look for it!

Thanks MJ

I have also enjoyed the Farm Country Christmas book, it's lovely. :-) Another book by Voyageur Press that I've enjoyed a lot is "Seasons on the Farm," edited by Amy Glaser. It's a beautiful book.
