I got my first issue of the newly released Victoria magazine today!! It was like a visit from a long lost friend. Cannot wait to sit down and read it when I have a quiet moment or two to myself. Funny how some simple little thing like that can make a person happy.

My favorite magazine along those lines has to be Romantic Homes. It's not my life style either but appeals to my girly side too! I also love Hobby Farm home -- now that's up my alley!

Couldn't wait til my subscription arrived so I snagged one when I saw it at the grocery store a couple days ago. Just lovely. And so like the ones from the early years, even the fonts and sections are true to form. Romantic and old fashion, just perfect. Those dresses of Tasha Tudor's made me want to swoon with delight. The purple plaid silk.. *sigh... someone catch me, or at least hand me the smelling salts!*

I understand what you are saying Kay. The magazine does not represent the way I live my day to day life at all (much more country and farmy at my place) but the gentle and quiet nature of the magazine still get to me and make me enjoy my girlie side (which is not easy as a lifelong tomboy!) What magazine is your favorite these days anyway, Kay? I probably would like what you like.

I got mine a few days ago and I have to tell you that I'm disappointed. My tastes have changed or something. Everything was just too "fancy" for me. Guess I've become more of a down home Farmgirl than I thought. I cancelled my subscription.

I am definitely going to subscribe. Sent the money out today with the rest of the bills I hated to pay! That one was a happy one though. It is so great to read that magazine while drinking tea and sitting quietly, isn't it? Looking forward to many more years with it.

Was so happy to get my copy in the mail! I most of all loved the photography and the quotes from different authors. It is like being reunited with an old friend.

Got mine on Tuesday. Took a quick peek . . . not sure if I will subscribe -- crafty and cottage blogs seemingly are taking the place of magazines for me lately!

I'm so excited it has come out again! Is it as good as the old ones? I will have to keep an eye out at the book/grocery store so I can buy it. I wanted to look at it first to see if I want to subscribe.

I think it is as good as it used to be! Unfortunately, I read the whole thing on the weekend and now have to wait TWO months to get another one. What a nice surprise that it is available again.

I got my Victoria magazine on Friday. Haven't had opportunity to sit down and look it over yet though. Should go do that now while it is quiet here.

Can you buy the magazine at the book store or do you have to order it? I used to subscribe to Victoria magazine & really miss it.

AAARRGGHH! from me, too! I think my mail carrier is reading it first! (just kidding) Now I will be waiting, too, not so patiently by my mailbox. Oh, goody!
