Hello everyone!

I was just reading about a lucky farmgirl who visited Tasha Tudors home. I would love to do that. There are other author sites I have always wanted to visit as well. I could probably plan several years worth of vacations around these wishes.

Here are a few of mine:

Green Gables, located in Cavendish in the Prince Edward Island National Park "home" of Anne of Green Gables

Any of the homes Laura Ingalls Wilder lived in. My parents have been to three of them: One in Iowa, One in South Dakota, and her last home in Misouri

Orchard House, home of Louisa May Alcott

How about you???

Lucinda

P.S. I visited Monterey, CA several years ago without knowing that Robert Louis Stevenson and John Steinbeck had both lived there. (slaps self in forehead!)

Who loves a garden still his Eden keeps, Perennial pleasures plants, and wholesome harvest reaps. ---Bronson Alcott

Hey Farm Girls

Kim

I think that you would enjoy a new series of "cozy" mysteries that is being written by an author named Susan Wittig Albert. Beatrix Potter is the main character, and they are set at her farm in the Lake Country. Two books have been written to date.
