Anyone read the Miss Julia books by Ann B. Ross?? I am reading the second one. Read Miss Julia Speaks her Mind first, and now Miss Julia takes over..there are at least 3 more. They read alot like a Fanny Flagg book (can't ever get enough of THOSE) and I am enjoying them!! Checked those two from the library on Friday..will have to go back on Monday and get the rest. I am sure I will be done with the second one tonight. Love those feisty southern women..they remind me of relatives (and me)

Julia,
Thank you for the quote by G. K. Chesterton. I wrote it down -

Good name! I will have to give them a try, they sound like fun. Julia

Hi Jenny-

Yes, I've read some of the Miss Julia books. She is such a hoot! Right now I'm reading "Miss Julia's School of Beauty" which is the newest one in the series, I think. There could be another out that I haven't seen. Check out www.missjulia.com
