I just came back from buying a birthday book for my son's friend at Border's. And since the magazine section is right before the checkout counter, I had to check for any/all new magazines. And there it was! Hobby Farm Home #2! I didn't think it was coming out until fall.
It includes articles about:
Goat's milk recipes
Wild edibles
Crafting Quilts
Making soap
Running a Bed & Breakfast
Building purple martin gourds
Doing the happy dance! Yippee!!

Yes, Shirley. This is only the second issue. It's published by the folks who put out Hobby Farm magazine. Originally, the second issue wasn't supposed to come out until this fall. I'm sure glad they changed their minds! I think they've gotten a lot of positive feedback(some from us gals here on MJF).

I just picked it up today at WM. We're leaving on monday for a trip, so I'll save it to read then. I did take a little peak....weeds, goat milk, quilting & BASIL. Can't get much better than that!

Your timing is incredible Bev. I just got off their website looking to see if the new issue was out. It still had the Spring issue listed as current. So glad to know that the website just hasn't been updated and the newest issue is actually in the stores. Looks like a trip to Tractor Supply is in store for the weekend.
